It is really difficult to get an exact likeness in a photo. Please note: when the slate is sealed (which is recommended)… it will go darker.

As this is a natural Slate product, every piece of slate is different and will contain unique natural characteristics, which may be colour variations and inclusions, such as fossils and different layers in the slate showing through from the previous layer. For worktops, we do select and purposely mill the slate into a darker harder more uniform layer in the slate, but please be aware it is a natural product with beautiful natural characteristics and variations.
